Through a competitive tender process Pulse Project Solutions was chosen for design and installation of the air conditioning and ventilation services at Merchants Warehouse, a Grade II listed building in the centre of Manchester. The CAT A system was manipulated and redesigned to meet the new requirements of the client. The pipe work and ductwork included careful co-ordination due to the systems being installed on site and located within confined architectural spaces. Working in collaboration with the client and consultant, Pulse Project Solutions successfully achieved a timely handover whilst ensuring high quality was maintained throughout the project.

High Security

Delivery of CAT B refurbishment to high security and listed buildings. This project lasted 2 years on site and combined full VRF with ground source back up, making it a highly efficient and bespoke project.

Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 team

The Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 corporate hospitality comprised of servicing and maintaining the bespoke air-conditioning system from pre F1 session testing and commissioning to the decommissioning at the end of session and also on site location repair works.

Works were completed in the UK ready for the F1 team to travel the Globe entertaining clients and a creating a mobile home for the drivers and staff.

Special care was required and precision testing was required to ensure the workability of the system throughout the year.

Tyco

Major CAT A & B combined delivery to recycled HQ

TYCO Fire and building products

We installed Toshiba Heat Recovery systems within all three floors, fully air-conditioning a total floor space of 64,000ft² 

This project had its own challenges because of the customer regiments with the floors above still in use and blow as we moved up the building, time schedule – three weeks per floor to install 47 indoor units.

Spring Gardens

Major CAT A refurbishment to 10 story office block. This project was a full refurbishment of the building and involved on show services to the highest standard utilising air socks.

Ombudsman

Major CAT B and Restaurant combined delivery

Pulse Project Solutions carried out full air conditioning and ventilation modifications at Daresbury Park, Warrington on behalf of Ombudsman Services.

The works involved modifications to the existing Mitsubishi VRF air conditioning systems and fresh air ventilation over two levels, including a new ground floor restaurant.

The Ground Floor restaurant included on show mechanical services installed to perfection creating a feature for the diners.

Daikin Manchester

“We fit out our suppliers offices and training spaces”

Daikin are currently one of the biggest Air Conditioning manufacturers worldwide with an extensive and comprehensive range of air conditioning and refrigeration products and systems for commercial, residential and industrial applications. Pulse Project Solutions was tasked with a project to install all the ranges of equipment including solar and heat pump technology within the ground floor offices for the purpose of training Daikin engineers and advising and demonstrating to potential clients.

We installed VRF upstairs for the offices and full control systems to interconnect all aspects of the equipment installed.

As this was Daikins regional training and development centre particular care and precise installation was required as all pipework and cables were on show
